Can't
Find a Suitable Course or Venue?
If,
after looking at the courses on offer, you still can't find anything
that suits you, remember that:
- you
only see a small proportion of the courses we offer. We provide a
range of other courses for individual trade unions and also for unions
at specific workplaces within our area
- we
may be able to offer you a place on a course that is not advertised
- if
you see a course that you would like to do, but can't get to the venue
where it is being offered, or you want a course that is not advertised,
please contact us
- we
may have several other people from your area who are also interested
in doing the same course, and we could come to you. The majority of
our teaching is delivered in the community, and we welcome any suggestions
from you for new venues
- you
may know other union reps from your workplace or area who would be
interested in a course, and we could make arrangements that suit you
all. We are also happy to to come and deliver a "one off"
course on a current topic, tailored to the needs of your members and
at your request
- we
are able to provide courses at times that vary from what we advertise.
For example, if you have a group of trade unionists who work shifts,
we may be able to provide a course at times that fit in with your
shift system
- we
are able to provide a range of learning support to help you with study
skills, writing and calculations
